As the sun comes up on a new day, it was time to break camp and head home. We were fortunate this year with the weather. We took our time packing up. Last year we had to break camp in the rain.
Not quite ready to head home, we decided on a slight detour to see Ice Caves Mountain in Ellenville, NY. Although we did stop along route 52 to take in some fantastic views of the countryside, we were disappointed when we arrived at Ice Caves Mountain to find out that it had closed down last year.
As we slowly drift asleep on a nice comfortable mattress for the first time in several nights, we dream of next year.
